A co-founder and president of The Antioch Group, Dr. Hamon completed his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology/Behavioral Medicine at the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Hamon has worked extensively in individual and marital therapy and in treatment of traumatic stress disorders. He is also actively engaged in the practice of Forensic (court-related) Clinical Psychology.
A regular speaker on an array of topics such as “Virtues-based Discipline” and “Preventing Professional Burnout,” Dr. Hamon has also authored articles in both national magazines and professional journals. Dr. Hamon is a member of the Illinois and American Psychological Associations and the Christian Association of Psychological Studies. He is also a Clinical Member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and of the American College of Forensic Examiners.
Dr. Hamon lives in Dunlap, is the parents of two adult children and two grandchildren, and attends First Evangelical Covenant Church.
