Marriage and Family Counseling
Marriage is a unique connection of two individual people bringing their expectations, needs, and personalities together — creating one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences in an individual's life. Yet, because of unique differences and backgrounds, marriage can be a difficult process, requiring continued communication and understanding to succeed. Therapists at The Antioch Group provide marriage counseling for couples who are dealing with various issues. We help couples process through sensitive issues including eroded trust, emotional affairs, infidelity, sexual issues and addictions, and feelings of betrayal. Our therapists teach couples how to strengthen their trust, enhance communication skills, build appreciation for one another, assess their expectations, learn to "fight fair" and deal with differences in a positive manner. It's never too late for a marriage to begin the healing process.

Addiction Services
When abused, alcohol and drugs can become more important than everything else in an addict’s life. Frequently, this can lead to broken occupational and social commitments, bankruptcy, or even serious legal problems. Alone, most attempts to stop the alcohol or drug addiction are unsuccessful. However, our clinicians are trained to help. Addiction recovery is often accomplished through a 12-step group therapy program coupled with individual therapy sessions focusing on building life skills, drug and alcohol addiction education, and coping strategies. Family or a strong social network can also provide the necessary support throughout the recovery process. Our clinicians are trained to work with adolescents and adults struggling with or seeking to heal from their addiction, as well as family members needing support through the journey.
