Specializing In: Pre-marital and couples therapy, grief, depression, addictions, and use of art in therapy.

Dr. Martino earned her Master’s degree in Alcohol and Substance Use at University of Illinois - Springfield, and her PsyD in Psychology from Ashford University in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Martino has experience in management of addiction services as a clinical supervisor and in training college students on assessment, group therapy, and individual therapy with those struggling with addiction. She has also experience with adolescents and the geriatric population and their unique lived struggles and grief situations.

In addition, Dr. Martino has had many opportunities to work with adolescents, and adult psychiatric hospitalizations over the years.

Along with her clinical work at The Antioch Group, Dr. Martino also works counseling abortion-minded females and their various life struggles at Destiny for Women. In conjunction, Dr. Martino has held educational opportunities to assist advocates and staff members in this life-saving endeavor.

Dr. Martino is the mother of three adult children (one deceased) and a grandmother to seven grandchildren. She lives in Peoria and attends Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
